Kristine Sullivan

Country Director

A teacher by profession, Kristine taught history and social justice for five years in Los Angeles, California while holding positions in school leadership and administration. When she first came to Uganda in 2012, she worked in a government high school in Gulu where she supported the teachers with pedagogical skills to encourage the implementation of student-centered learning. Kristine holds two master’s degrees: an MA in Secondary Education from Loyola Marymount University, and an MA in Global Development and Social Justice from St. John’s University with a focus on educational development. She also holds a BA in History from The College of the Holy Cross.
