She manages overall strategic direction of the organization as well as fundraising and engagement. Kate is passionate about the power of education to build empowered citizens and productive economies.
Kate has several years of experience in education project management, technical assistance, and policy advising. Before Elevate, she worked with FHI 360, supporting MCC- and USAID-funded programs across the Global Education portfolio. She has served as an embedded advisor to the Minister of Education in Liberia, consultant for the Ministry of Social Development in Panama, and spent several years designing and managing education programs for social enterprises in Peru and Guatemala.
Kate holds an MA in Global Human Development from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, with a specialization in education and human capital. She also holds a BA in Environmental Biology from Colgate University.
